El Puerto Rican Embassy is an "indenpendent state of mind", an affirmation of Puerto Rican identity in the Metropolis that proclaims its independence through the arts and culture as a response to the limits imposed by the dominant group that deprives Puerto Ricans of self-determination and diplomatic representation.
